Got an email promoting an in-store on the 18th at a Mac vendor
Neither Apple Store in D.C. has a demo yet or will confirm arrival date.
I hear demos on the 18th ship on the 23rd..

Breaking News
Apple has announced FCP version 3.0 with lots of very cool features. (See below.) We will be showing a pre-release version at a users group meeting at Mac Business Solutions on Tuesday, December 18th. The expected ship date of the Golden master is December 23rd. We will also talk about some of the previewed capabilities of DVDSP 1.2.
We will have our usual Q&A session, I will once again show some FCP Tips and Tricks, and we'll demo iDVD 2.0.
MBS is offering a $20 discount for FCP3 upgrades and $50 Discount for the full version of FCP3 to all members until 12/31/01. Details at the meeting or contact them directly.
The meeting will start at 7:00. Please contact MBS to RSVP and for directions.
