I have a somewhat strange problem. I have two network external drives, one Dlink and one WD. When trying to access any of these or even any other machine on my home network that are listed under "Shared" on my iMac, Finder crashes.

If I click on network and then try to access anything on the network that works fine. So, in theory, I could live with that. But, when trying to import images in Lightroom into the WD network external drive Lightroomm crashes, when trying to place images in InDesign from the WD network external drive InDesing crashes. And that I can not live with.

I am running iOS Maverick on iMac from 2012.

Any ideas on how to solve this?

Not sure exactly what you mean. The external drive is only connected thru the router, then wireless. My mouse is bluetooth and my wacomtablet is connected directly in my iMac. So i guess not

I am using multi usb hubs for other things like, card reader and locally connected external hard drives etc.
