iPad Air Fixing the "rainbow effect" on screen protector?

I'm searching for an ipad Air 5th gen case for my daughter. We are trying to find one that's protective (like the Otterbox Defender) but one that comes in different/kids' colors. She had a black Otterbox Defender on her iPad for 4 years and wants something different.

We ordered her 1 off Amazon, but there are many "rainbow spots" on the built-in screen protector.

Is that bad?

Is there a way to fix it?

The best way to use the iPad is not to use any screen protector or simply use the glass ones.

That's why I use a film screen guard from Gadgetshieldz on the body of the iPad 5th gen which is good for scratch protection and can give a good resale value too!
