done the usual stuff .....usually I can get to a select start up or restore and make it work this time can't seem to get out of the flashing question mark whereas unplugging etc used to be foolproof...nothing seems to work and I have done this many many times over the years ...seems the ext ssd boot drive is not well accommodated by late 2013 catalina imac
