Flat Package Editor for TIGER 10.4???

Does anyone know if this is possible?? I need to make changes to a “distribution” script in a mpkg. Unfortunately, I only have a Mac running Tiger 10.4, and I cannot upgrade the OS until I get access to FPE..

I downloaded Xcode 2.5 for tiger and the auxiliary tools from 2012 but the FPE in the 2012 auxiliary tools won’t launch in Tiger. I do not have access to another Mac

I appreciate any help!! I have a developer account but I can’t find any other tools

Does pkgutil exist on Tiger? If so, you can simply pkgutil --expand it, edit the Distribution file, and then pkgutil --flatten and install.
