The ifixit tear-down last year seemed to suggest that there isn't an antennae feed.

Apple has a history of deliberately not including it so i wouldn't hold your breathe.
Even if hardware support is there, apple would need to add software support.
The only modern ipod's with fm are the ipod nano 5/6, they seem to keep it limited to lower-end iPod's.

Just to clarify...

No hardware support was never 100% conclusive for the itouch 4g, unlike prior models.

But it's likely it too doesn't have an antenna rigged up...
And even if it does, Apple need to support it in fw/software before it'll work.

So yeah, what the prior guys posted is pretty much the best option around, if you must have FM.

I don't know of one for the iPod touch 4th gen. For the 5th gen I'd like to see it. I don't think it will happen but I can dream.
