I thought I would share this tip with you guys here. For the longest time, I have been wondering how it is possible to force iCloud Messages on iPhone to upload current messages, because sometimes if you restore/reset or set up a new device, your newest messages will be missing. I realized that if you perform an iCloud backup, it forces your messages to upload and update in iCloud. I don't ever restore from backups, but this is a way that you can force your messages to upload if you have been wondering like me. I hope this will help someone!

Yes, the ideal situation is always do a manual iCloud backup than to rely on the automatic backup. The automatic backup requires the device to be connected to WiFi and a power source. For me, I will always do a manual iCloud backup and iTunes backup to know my data is up to date.
