Ever since upgrading to FCP5 I've had an issue in the preview window.
When I first double click a dv file it opens in the first pane on the right, the preview window where you can insert in and outs. When I play in this window the footage is jerky and often skips, when I place it in the timeline though it runs perfectly.
It's native DV and doest require rendering, in FCP 4.5HD it never did this, so why now?
I've tried a lot of changes in the setup menus but to no avail, any ideas anyone?
I'm running the latest version of Tiger and all updates for FC studio. Machine is a dual 2ghz Powermac,
