Windows FRAPS not working with Bioshock?

Hi all, Alex here.

I've noticed that there is no FPS monitor running from my FRAPS application while playing BioShock. FRAPS works fine with all of my other games?

Before posting here, I did some googling about this issue and I have seen on other forums that people have had the same problems that I am with FRAPS/BioShock and managed to solve it, but they never share how exactly they fixed it.

I've tried using the latest version of FRAPS, and 3.4.7. Nothing works. I'd like to have an FPS monitor on my screen to see how well my new graphics card is handling this game.
