Seems to be different than other sounds apps. There's music and noises. Plus you create themes where you choose the music, then pick several sounds, which you set for looping or occasional, plus volume controls I think. It comes with a few preset themes.

I'd dl it now, but I'm not near wifi. I wish you can purchase an app anytime, but choose to download it later. I hate missing out on sales just because I'm not using wifi.

Features:

-9 pieces of high quality stereo background music and 27 ambient noises.
-Free combination of background music and up to 3 different ambient noises.
-Set ambient noises as loop sound like raining or occasional sounds like thunder or cow mooing.
-Seperately configure the volume of background music and ambient noises.
-General volume control in playback window.
-Programmable shutdown timer.
-Sound volume fade out at the end of timer.
-7 preset relax themes.

Preset relax themes:

-Into the west (Fall asleep by the warm campfire)
-Vocation in Hawaii (Sound of the ocean)

A little background sound never hurt, but would you really relax to the pleasant sounds of... wolves?

I'm sure it's just a howl in the background, and with the playback options, you can make it happen occasionally. So you could setup a camp theme, with a campfire, mountain or wind in trees noise, and an occasional wolf howling at the moon. If that is indeed what the sound is, hopefully not the sound of it viciously attacking or walking around :)

I have tried it but ended up not liking it due to the sound quality (not great) and how many of the loops are not smooth enough for me.

Although, the interface is very beautifully done. Everything is exactly at where you want them to be at. Very intuitive (unlike Ambiance or Asleep, which had interfaces that I disliked).

I am also not a fan of micro managing sounds when all I want to do is relax.

EDIT: Coincidentally, aSleep update has finally been released.. checking out the new UI now.
