Hi, I'm from Italy. Already asked some help in "2006/2007 Mac Pro (1,1/2,1) and OS X Yosemite ". It's a 2007 Mac Pro1,1/Dual-Core Intel Xeon/2,66 GHz/N processors2/NUCLEI:4/Cache L2 (per proc):4 MB/MemoriY 4 GB/bus SPEED 1,33 GHz/Vers. Boot ROM:MP11.005C.B08/Version SMC1.7f10. OSX 10.6.8 installed. My daughter NEEDS IT FOR Distance Learning, due to Covid19 her class divided in 2 turns, they rotate each week from distance to presence. But to run the required softwares,we need osx 10.9 AT LEAST.
I cannot buy a new mac and this one is SO good, apple support said it can go to 10.7.5. But as it needs to be at least 10.9 I've been googling till this thread. Can I upgrade directly to yosemite? what do I need and how to do it? Please, I need Step bu step verey clear explanations! ThankU all!!!
