So in High Sierra 10.13 Apple removed ftp. I had a script in another program that required ftp to be executed via the terminal. I thought I got around this problem by using inetutils from brew. However, it seems that the script does not recognize the new ftp command. Any idea on how to link to it?

It's probably somewhere in /usr/local/bin/. Search with your favourite search engine for : bash shell PATH softlink etc.
