My original 1.83 GHz macbook pro that I got in april 2006 was stolen when my car was stolen in vegas. It had 2 gigs of RAM and I can remeber the video card specfically, but I think it was probably a ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 (checking out wikipedia). It ran COD2 and WOW very well. Anyways, after finding my car, the computer was gone and I had to get a new computer, so I decided to just get the latest macbook pro cuz it sounded pretty good.

It has...
2.4 GHz, 800 MHz bus speed
2 gigs of RAM
GeForce 8600M GT at 256 MB VRAM

It sounded faster and more beautiful to me, so I was like ok. The next time my roomies and I played COD2 on our lan, tho, it looked good but it sort of jumped around a little bit. I was worried, so I tried WOW and the same thing. Is the GeForce not as good? I read some articles that software update 1.1 messed up a couple things... I'm not sure, anyone getting this to or have any ideas? thanx!
