I find the "delete and move" function to be very useful in Garageband.

However, there's one major problem: when I "delete and move" a portion of one track, it does exactly what I want to on that one track, but every other track is unaffected.

Is there any way to use the "delete and move" function so that it affects the entire project, removes a portion of everything in all tracks at that particular movement in time?

Thank you!

I will try it ... I didn't realize you can select multiple tracks at once.

So far the idea of editing in the timeline does not seem to work. I will keep trying to figure this out. I can't believe no one has ever tried to do this before.

Thanks for the feedback,

yes, you can edit multiple tracks at once (just select and edit), no need to touch master.
