iPad Pro Geez. The price increase on the Apple smart keyboard is crazy

Hope you're kidding. Apple does not sell on Amazon. The seller in your screenshot is some random 3rd party. It is the common practice of 3rd party sellers to either price things ridiculously high so as to net the naive, or to do so because they are out of stock of an item and don't want you to order, but want to maintain a placeholder page on Amazon.
Supply and demand. Want it now, you have to pay for it. Be patient for a couple weeks and get it at retail ($169).
Got mine on preorder. Should be here in January. Can't wait! Bet it's gonna feel like $500 worth of keyboard at the great deal I got at $170!
If you have an Apple Store nearby, keep checking in store pickup option. Maybe you will be able to pick one up before your order ships.
You can also check Best Buy regularly. I ordered a Pencil Friday and it arrives Monday. The get stock in randomly but sell out quickly.
Why? Are you forced to buy from them?This one of the reasons I hate third-party sellers on Amazon.

Wow. This just gave me hope. Gonna be checking Best Buy like crazy now. Do you just check their online tracker or do you call?
It does look better in some ways but it's so big! If you were gonna use your iPad like a laptop all the time sure. But I like to use my keyboard....then take it off....then use it. And if doesn't go in and out of the Logitech case very easily.
