Aside from changing the icons one by one, has anyone figured out how to change the default folder icons on macOS Catalina yet?
I know already you can change the colour, but what about the icon itself?

Have you tried command-key I-key / command-key V-key?

Yup! That's great if you have individual folders that you'd like to customise. Having to do it again for every folder that you create isn't the best way forward.

I've always had to go into the apps "package contents" to change an apps icon.

I know you can change the icon's colour through "package contents" but that's about it. I'm looking for something that can change the icon image completely; something like CandyBar would do.

I found an app that would do just that: LiteIcon - Free and super easy to use. Just need to disable SIP and you're good to go.

So, since no macOS Big Sur update for my MBP, I decided to customise the UI a bit. I made a bunch of icons but i'm not totally satisfied with the result. I will definitely go for a minimalist look which will work for both Light & Dark mode.
