Generic PowerBook AC adapters?

Has anyone here had any experience with generic 65W PowerBook AC Adapters, such as this one?

My second OEM AC adapter just broke (the same way as most of them do, the cord freys from the connector, and doesn't leave enough wire to solder back together), and I'm reluctant to buy another $50-$75 Apple adapter.

You can usually get Apple ones from eBay for the same price as the generic one there. I would try that first, as you really never know what you're gonna get with the non-OEM ones.
