It seems Intel can't get a break! They made some poor decisions and now they're scrambling to get things going again. I hope they don't fail!

Germany refusing Intel's additional demand for subsidies for chip plant, Financial Times reports

Germany's Finance Minister Christian Lindner is refusing Intel's demands for higher subsidies for a 17-billion-euro ($18-billion) chip plant, saying the country could not afford it, the Financial Times reported on Sunday.

Apparently they’ve changed their mind and are now offering nearly 10 billion € (close to 11 billion US$). Will be interesting to see where chips are (and where they are made) in a decade!
