Resolved Ghost New Event in Calendar

With "Events Found in Mail" enabled, I now see flights sourced from my email showing up as events. In one weird instance I also see a ghost New Event created next to the flight event with a date range of 2:29 PM, Sun. Oct 18, 2015 to 4 PM, Sun, Dec 31, 2000. While the 2:29 PM time and date seem to be a legitimate flight departure date, I don't understand where the Dec. 31, 2000 date came from. Probably some screwed up format in the email, but the thing is I cannot delete this New Event from the calendar. The only way to make it disappear is by disabling the "Events Found in Mail" option. Looks like a bug, but I'm wondering if anyone else seen something like this.

Hmm.. now the ghost New Event has disappeared. Go figure.
