In Sweden, we have a carrier called "hallon". Thats "raspberries" in English. I know, corny name, but prices is brutaly great! They are owned by 3 (Three, Hutchinson) and offers this:

Hallon Small: 60 free calls. They can be as long as you want.
5000 Texts/MMS
1 GB Data

For 99 SEK (About 12 USD)

Hallon Big: Unlimited calls
Unlimited Texts/MMS
7 GB / 22 GB Data

For 249 SEK for 7 GB or 299 SEK for 22 GB.

In USD thats about 29 USD for 7 GB or about 35 USD for 22 GB.

No contract time. No cancellation time. Lets say you cancel your plan Feb. 19th, it ends the last day of that month!

Good deal?

In Denmark, the best bang for the buck we got is from Oister (Yes!), which are owned by 3: For 79 danish kroner (11.4 USD) you get 6 hours of talk and 12 GB 4G data (Or 12 hour talk and 6 Gb data) and free texts.

If you want the cheapest unlimited talk, then you have to go for 3 or Call Me, which offers it with 2 or 4 GB data for 120 kroner (17.4 USD) or 129 kroner (18.7 USD) respectively. Alternatively, 20 hour talk and 20 GB data for 129 kroner (18.7 USD) at Oister.

They all go with no contract and cancelation time I believe (Too lazy to check, but it is the norm here).

Germany with the carrier Simyo

No contract and monthly billing, i.e. you can cancel anytime you like

1GB LTE data + 200 minutes or SMS - around 18 US$ + 3.5US$ if I run out of data and need another GB in that period.

USA: Straight Talk. Unlimited talk, text, data...5GB high speed then 2G; $45.00 per month, no contract. Few $$ less if you set up auto-pay. Only a few features missing, e.g., no tethering, roaming.
