Ever since I've updated to El Capitan my iMac no longer goes automatically to sleep. I've made sure everything is turned off appropriately. I zapped my PRAM and I unplugged my computer for 15 seconds. Can somehow help?

The problem is you "upgraded" a longer running Mac! Some older piece of old software service is still running. Download the free program EtreCheck and run it. It will make a txt file showing you everything in your Mac and tell you if it needs deleting or updated for El Captain. You will have to delete the out-of-date services and after deleting manually and after all the deletion reboot to rebuild the system files.

This will speed up your Mac after this " upgrade"!
