Good basic photo editor

I'm using my Mac Pro 5,1 with Mojave. Recently I've found that my PixelStyle Photo Editor application no longer works on this machine. I'm just wondering if anyone knows of a good replacement?

How about using the Apple Photo editor? Or explain what "good" means for you.

I like Affinity Photo for simple work and has a lot of feature for a real good price. Another is ON1 photo..but my preferred Photo work for work is Capture One.

Affinity is very good, affordable and works well with Mojave
which has a good phot editor as well!

+2 on Affinity, who've just released v2 for the same price. I've read thru the new features, but being I've only figured out 20% of v1, I'll just stick to what I've got for now. For under a Benjamin (once!) I don't think you can beat it.
