Good Photography Forum

I am on the lookout for a nice photography forum (Not dpreview). Does anyone know of a good forum that is of a fairly large size?

If you're serious about going with a Nikon camera, check out Nikon Cafe at http://www.nikoncafe.com. It originally was created by some Nikon shooters to get away from the sometimes chaotic atmosphere on the Nikon forums at DPreview.

Fred Miranda also has forums at his site, and Steve, of Steves-digicams.com has forums.... Photosig is another site.

Just read NikonCafe. I think it's great from what I have read over the last 30 minutes. Learned a lot and heard a lot of opinions (don't get a DX telephoto lense because it doesn't save you much weight or anything else, but do so if you get a very wide lense).

You might try http://www.photo.net. However, there is a bunch of sarcasm there too, but not quite as rabid as dpreview.com. You are right to stay clear of dpreview's forums! Some of the worst examples of humanity come out to roost on a daily basis in that place...makes you realize how much better the Macrumors community is!
