Resolved Google maps 3d party

Any word or rumor if Google will have a 3rd party version of Google Maps after Apple comes out with iOS6? The Apple maps will reportedly be licensed from TomTom so I checked out TomTom webpage and they seem to have nothing in Vietnam where I frequently use my iPad maps. Google is a little weak there but still better than any others I have seen.

Surprised this issue does not seem to be of concern on this forum. Maybe everyone thinks Apple will improve on Google Maps in all geographies but I find that questionable. Oh well.
