So I’ll start by saying I’ve been a huge Apple fan since the early 2000’s.
My first official Mac was an iMac G4 and it was over after that.
I’ve owned so much since then but I had always sold the items to upgrade to the newest release. I’m retrospect I regret it given what I’ve been up to in the past few months.
So about 4 months ago I fell on a iPod HiFi YouTube video and I fell in love all over again.
That peaked my interest enough to go out and find one. Started searching on FB Marketplace, EBay , Kijiji etc. My main requirement, boxed.
What I loved and love most about apple is and has always been the packaging.
The attention to detail.
The feeling of unboxing.
I did end up finding one locally for a decent price.
That catapulted me into a rabbit hole and voila.
I’ve gone absolutely insane.
Attached are pictures of a portion of my collection.
My main focus, boxed items.
When it came to iPods, iPhones etc is new.
95% or my iPods and iPhones are new and sealed.
Some are new but were unsealed by customs ( I’m in Canada ) :( :(
I have quite a few items on the way as well.
2 Apple Lisa 2/5’s , a apple II with original receipt , a fully boxed apple 3.
And everyday I am adding more and more.
I rented an office space to start exposing this stuff.
I will most likely start a YouTube channel to show the world my collection and remind everyone how amazing these products were/ are.
Enjoy this for now and I will update it as it grows.

Holy ****! 4 months?! You spent that much money and organized that collection that meticulously in 4 months!?

…are you sure you didn’t travel back to 2006 and rob an Apple Store? ?

Beautiful work!
Lolol Thank you!!
Ya it's a serious addiction.. That's not even really organized. I'm just starting to organize it now and there's quite a bit more that's not in those pics.
Mainly the older stuff, Lisa's , Macintosh, Apple ii's , iii's etc

Amazing (in the allotted time-frame).

However, I don't yet see a Strawberry tray loader iMac, or a Tangerine Slot Loader (among others). I guess they're caught up in freight ? ;)

One wonders where you made your millions!

Lolol no millions but been fortunate to be in a business that’s been thriving since COVID.
As for tangerine it’s there, strawberry hadn’t been put up yet.
The only one I’m missing is Sage.
I’ve been desperately looking for one and am quite surprised I was able to find a Blue Dalmatian and a Flower Power before finding a Sage.
What I’ve learnt in this “collecting game” is patience is extremely important.
Eventually everything pops up!

"It's not that easy..." ?

;)
... being green! ?
(I also waited for a loooong time to find one. My nice picked it up for me for 40 bucks and because of Corona slowed things down a lot, it is still waiting for me at my hometown ...)

@youyou: congrats to Your beautiful collection! And many thanks for sharing it to the community!!!
I like that You've also got and preserved all those items boxed, since boxed things carry their own special magic moment.

My favorite thing is to get all that old stuff connected:
Macintosh/os7 = LocalTalk/PhoneNet&AppleTalk = PPC-Mac/os9 = Ethernet = PPC/OSX = Ethernet/Wifi = intelMac
If You're in to such thing, have a look at that old LocalTalk and PhoneNet equipment and a Mac-in-the-middle, that has both LocalTalk and Ethernet combined in one machine (like the first PowerBook G3 Wallstreet/PDQ).

Maybe you’d be interested in my iPhone X fabric banner from in store. It’s mounted to spruce so weighs nothing and easy to put up. I attached the best photo. It’s like 6 or more feet wide. It was inside the aluminum wall display at the Apple retail store during the launch. Let me know… DM as I don’t check here often
