got Yosemite on iMac 6,1 but graphic is killing me

Hello, by following thread on this site, I got Yosemite installed on my old 2006 iMac 6,1.
but I just can't get 7600GT to work on it. I tried OSX helper kext, copied old lion nvidia kext, edited IOPCIfamily by adding deviceID but no luck. I am able to boot and log in but as you know graphic is super choppy as the system reads graphic card as 7600GT 9MB.

Any idea how I can get Yosemite to recognize 7600GT?

Same here... any updates on this yet? I tried using the latest nVidia web package , which installs fine, but still stuck at 9mb in About this Mac.
