Hey Everyone,
I purchased an OWC Thunderbay Mini. For those who are unaware, it's a 4 (SSD) drive enclosure which has thunderbolt 2 ports for my late 2011 macbook. (Detailed spaces below at link).
Firstly, I just wanted to ask confirmation that, in the event my macbook fails and I upgrade to a brand new MacBook with thunderbolt 3, that I will be able to use the thunderbolt 2-3 adapater to connect this enclosure?? I got it at a great price, but I would like this to be an investment for the future rather than old technology... I am starting out in music production by the way.
Apart from that, I have to figure out what hard drive(s) to use. Does anyone have any recommendations? I installed a Samsung Evo SSD in my Mac recently.
To be honest right now I still have quite a bit of space so I was thinking of maybe buying 1, max 2, 1TB drives for it...
