My iPhone 7+ has been in a case for the year I’ve owned it, but it still wound up getting some marks on the back of the phone, where apparently some dust or sand or something got in between the case and the phone.

So when my iPhone X comes on Friday I’m seriously considering going without a case this time... I figure even if I get a few small marks on it it’s not really going to be any worse than the 7 that’s been in a case for it’s whole life.

However, I’m not sure if the back glass will scratch easier than the aluminum of the 7.

It occurred to me that some people have had their glass backed phones for a month now, so I’m wondering how those phones have been holding up if you’ve been going caseless.

Thanks

Nope not with a phone with a glass back. Went to Best Buy mobile and bought a clear under armor case and am carrying it that way.
