On the Promise T/Bolt storage solutions? Been looking at:

How reliable are they? Is the Lacie stuff better? what has been your experience of the Thunderbolt enabled storage hardware?

All I know is this thing looks outrageously expensive, even if it is Thunderbolt.

Anything Thunderbolt is very expensive right not. Intel hasn't widely released information on developing TB technologies. I believe that we should be seeing more TB devices early next year. Unless you have some professional need (or tons of cash) for a TB RAID device, I wouldn't buy one. Just wait for more options and lower prices that will come next year.

Yes, I would wait until next year also. New technology always has it's fair share of bugs anyways, I don't think it's worth getting something with more bugs for more money just to have it first. I'd rather wait, pay less, and receive one that has had more of the bugs worked out

Yes they are expensive but the speed is worth it. A friend owns one and wouldn't trade for the world. Promise is really good about advice and service
