Has anyone made a clean install using APFS encrypted?

I have 2 rMBP 2014. One is using encrypted APFS (which I format before clean install). The other one is regular APFS. So far, no significant difference between the two. Even, if I may say, the encrypted one is slightly faster (possibly because of it ask password in the very beginning of boot process - in order to ready the disk).
