Has the opaque volume control box gone?

This was my biggest gripe since iOS 7. Every time you watched a video and touched the volume key, you couldn't see any of the video, because that massive volume box obscured the way. Please tell me they've sorted that out now?

Actually, somebody from another thread said it isn't there when you're viewing media.

That was me. When Im in a game it is not showing up, the volume just changes. Same with videos. The only time it shows up so far is on the home screen.

Ah you're correct minde had a bug where it wasn't there at first then it popped back up making me it was still there
