I switched to Mojave so I could have dark mode, but I am hating the new gallery mode so much (my primary mode of browsing thousands of images / video files on High Sierra), thats I am thinking of reverting.

Is there really no way to have a similar functionality as High Sierras gallery mode? This new one if much slower in real use for just flipping through and finding the media I'm looking for.
