Hi all, just wondering if you could help me decide upon a suitable headset/headphones with mic for my son's 2nd gen itouch (running 4.1) He's only 10, so it doesn't require to be some expensive high-end setup!

He'd mainly like to use the headset mic to play games with, and possibly use Skype with occaisionaly. Having a bit of a scout about there sems to be quite a few options available.

I was wondering if it was worth spending the £25 on the genuine Apple item as per :

http://store.apple.com/uk/product/MB770G/B?mco=MTY3ODQ5OTY

or if I would be ok just going with the likes of the Macally Tunepal :

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Macally-Ste...1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1289988941&sr=1-1

Would be keen to hear if anybody had much experience of using the Macally item, and what their thoughts on them were. Or, feel free to recommend any good alternatives up to and around the £20 mark.

Thanks!

:)
