Help a new Mac mini user (resolution when connecting TV)

So I just got my Mac mini and I was wondering if the Sony Bravia EX400 32" would work with the mini via hdmi.
What would be the maximum resolution be?
I also have an Xbox that I would use with the TV as well, I could just switch between input, correct?

Quick googling shows me that your TV is full HD thus its maximum resolution is 1920x1080. Yes, you can just switch between the inputs using the remote controller

This has probably been asked a million times, but what monitor do you recommend:
- FULL HD
- HDMI (at least two)
- Nice screen clarity
- mini compatibility
- xbox 360 compatibility
That's the main stuff I'm looking for. As for size between 24-32"

Would the 22" Class (21.6" diag.) BRAVIA EX308 be alright, it has an awkward resolution. What would my Mac mini do to fix this?
