Help choosing an aux - USBC for iPhone 15 PM

I have an older vehicle, 2012. I hate messing with Bluetooth in the car. It’s just easier plugging in an aux cord.

The cheap one I had before using the iPhone 12 PM sounded great!

However, I ordered 1 for the 15 PM (aux to USBC), and it seems like all Dolby Atmos songs are very low in volume.

I am using Apple Music streaming.

Is there a setting I need to change, or do I just need to order more aux cords?
