Help! How can update eMac from 10.4.2 to 10.4.6

I am so sorry, i am a rookie.
My eMac is Mac OSX 10.4.2 CPU : 700MHZ Powerpc G4 RAM: 512MB SDRAM

I want update my emac from 10.4.2 to 10.4.6 directly, so i download the update file form http://www.apple.com . I downloaded MacOsX update 10.4.6ppc.dmg and MacOsX update 10.4.6inter.dmg. But all failed at the fourthly step!

If somebody can give me the resolution of this problem, i will thX very much. I just need the url of correct update file for my eMac.
How can i update eMac from 10.4.2 to 10.4.6 directly.
Pls help me! THx !

The Intel one wont work, but the PPC one should. Have you tried using Software Updater in the Apple menu?

Are you using the combo update or the regular? You must use the combo.

Also, did you partition your drive lately?

I am downloading the combo file now. What different between combo & MacOSXupdate 10.4.6 ppc.dmg?THX

How can i Software Updater in the Apple menu? I found the softerware update only download some small software but not OS update file. Maybe i am wrong....

I complete the update by using combo file! Haaaaaaaaaaaaa

Yeah, the delta file (the one you originally downloaded) only holds the packages to update from the previous OS point release - 10.4.5 to 10.4.6 - whereas the combo file can update from any previous version of the same version of Tiger, from 10.4.0.
