Help! I come home after two months away to find my mbp dead?

Essentially, I just returned from two months away to find my mbp exactly where i left it, except that when i turn it on, it kernels after about two minutes! Sometimes it goes super weird before it kernels and the mouse just darts to the right or bottom of the screen!

This is kind of worrying me, although I have applecare so hopefully they can sort it out. my mbp is the first c2d model, so is only 8 months old. Does anyone have any idea whats wrong?

My mouse jumps across the place if I have my Airport enabled and I'm not connected to a wireless network.

I disable it when not connected and it works fine. Works fine too when I'm actually connected to a router.
