Dear all apple experts.

My ibook G4 1G 12" had a lot of problem, and i couldnt locate my original OSX disc, so i had using my friend OS 10.3 to install on my ibook , however after i press C to start boot from the CD-ROM , then the apple icon come up and stop. since i had used a lot of different version of OS 10.3, so i really dont know what version of OS 10.3 i needed. I mean OS 10.3.? ......

Does anyones got the same experience of this matter and have gor solution?

Your iBook should be able to run all versions of 10.3, from 10.3.0 to 10.3.7, just fine. I'm not quite sure why it isn't booting from his CD though... While this isn't a nice practice, I'm assuming since you own an iBook, you at one point did have the CD's. What do you mean it stops when it tries to boot? Does the spinning logo appear below the Apple? How long have you let it sit for? When booting from the Mac OS X reinstall disks, it can take sometimes 4-5 minutes to get past that initial screen.
