MP 6,1 Help!! Trash an won't start after holiday break. Red light

I went on holiday for a week and turned off my trashcan.
I try to turn it on this morning and nothing... The fan turns, but no chime and I can see a red light on the bottom left side of the mac.

The red light is basically waiting for a matching signal from a cable inserted into the port. Check your cable.

If trash can is still not working correctly, remove the batteries or unplug AC adapter. Let trash can sit for at least 2 hours to reset. Good luck
