Hi,

My mother has the first generation Mac mini, with OSX 10.4 I think. She had airport installed by Apple and one day it stopped working. It seems that the computer thinks the Airport is not installed. I am not used to Macs and I tried to fix the problem with no luck.

I am sorry about the limited information (as I do not have the computer in front of me now) but does anyone have a clue what could be wrong and what I should try to do?

All help is appreciated! :)

Open system preferences, then network. Is the Airport on and connected? If not, highlight it and turn it on.

It is not possible. The computer opens a window that says: "Your network settings have been changed by another application" It is not possible to close this window or nothing. It will open again.

Is the computer maybe dying?
