Help with audio!

I am about to start working on my first documentary this coming summer. And I need help as to how to pull the audio from my video to use on different scenes.

For example, if i have a woman talking and I want to have footage of her talking with the audio of course, but then cut to another scene of footage but still have her talking how do i do this?

I'm using imovie 5.0.2

Select the clip then Click Advanced from the top menu then Extract Audio or (Cmd. J)

Yes extract audio from the interview, than cut the video clip where she is talking than choose the video you would like to paste over it and cntrl click and choose "Paste Clip over Playhead" or choose it in the advanced menu.
