I know that on the iPod Touch if you aren't in a wi-fi zone you can't use programs such as aim, facebook, myspace etc

but what about on the iPhone lets say your not in a Wi-Fi zone but your still in a cellular network can I use aim to chat with my friends?

I think i read that BeeJive uses your existing data plan (as well as a wi-fi) is that what I am looking for?
:confused::confused:

just to clarify yes you will need an actual data plan over your cellular network
