I have just upgraded the battery and OS in a 2012 MacBook Air, it is now running High Sierra which is the latest OS it will run. I have just tried to set up a local network with an airport express and when I tried to connect iTunes to the express, I got a dialog saying that The Airport Express is Not Compatible with this version of iTunes.

So... I downgraded the firmware from the latest to one or two below but it still didn't work. So my question is, is this a firmware problem, is this a recommended version for the 2nd Gen express, that works with High Sierra? or this is some other problem.

thx.
