Been running the GM for a few days now and my computer won't stay up for more then 24 hours. Constant sleep/wake failures (especially when plugging in/out my LG 5K monitors).

No samples for specified time interval

Have you updated the software/firmware on the LG UltraFine? There are numerous threads in these forums about the hot mess known as the LG UltraFine Display. Perhaps you can take a look at the threads and you'll find some info you can use.

Thanks, I updated to 2.06 a couple weeks back. Didn't realize there's a 2.08 update already. Running that now. As well as the High Sierra final release as it seems that it has a different build number, so hoping there's a minor fix for this issue.

Well, updated the LG screen manager to 2.08, but doesn't look like there's actually a firmware update for the monitors. And since I don't actually have the screen manager app ever running I'm guessing that's not the cause of my issues. Will update High Sierra.

Problem persists. Latest LG software and High Sierra release. Mind boggling that Apple still can't get their act together.

Running into the exact same issue on my 2017 MacBook Pro. Did you manage to rule out if the issue is related to the 5K? Reading this I'm not sure if a clean install will make a difference.

I’m almost certain it’s the 5K. Yesterday I had issues plugging just one of them in. The whole system hub and would resume when I unplugged it. Even though LG Screenmanager wasn’t running logs showed lots of references to it. I completely uninstalled screenmanager usin Appcleaner and both monitors plugged in fine now.

Logs also referenced the USB ports, so it may be an issue with the 5Ks in relation to any devices plugged into them.

I’ll stick with the peripherals plugged in but screen manager uninstalled for a few days. If I still see issues I’ll re-install screen manager and then test with no peripherals plugged in. Will keep this thread updated.
