High Sierra & MS Office 15.36.0...

I am having problems updating my Office package to 15.36.0

I updated to High Sierra WITHOUT APFS, whilst Office was ver. 15.35. It worked, but today I was prompted to update to ver. 15.36.0, and all the apps fail to update???

Anyone with this problem?

I did a clean install of High Sierra on a partition. I installed Office 2016 v15.33. I was able to successfully upgrade to 15.36.

If you can boot back into Sierra, upgrade using Fast Insider. Copy over the apps in Applications. They are sandboxed so should work in High Sierra.

Check your version of autoupdate. If it's 3.9, update to 3.9.1 here:

Then re-try the update.

I checked the autoupdate ver., and it was the latest. I will try the trick about migrating from a clean update later tonight...
