iPhone 14 Pro Max Highlighting text in the Messages App

  1. Imagine you have composed a long SMS text message. (you have to scroll to read)
  2. It needs to be long enough so it is not all viewable on the screen.
  3. Activate the focus so as to highlight the text anywhere.
  4. Now adjust it with your finger and try and highlight, by going up top to the text that's currently off view.
  5. The text message should scroll up as you highlight... it does not. (same situation if you try and highlight text that is bottom and currently off view.)
Am I doing something wrong? Seems like a bug to me. I know I can make it "Select All"; but I may not want to do that. Can anyone enlighten me on this?
