I was watching Netflix on Safari (you can guess what show...) and I was enjoying about 5 hours of battery life (with torrents seeding in the background).

I decided to open in Firefox because I recalled Apple mentioning that you get way more battery life on Safari (and I thought it was bs)...

Long story short, they weren't lying. Not only did my computer die in an hour and 25 minutes, it also cranked my CPU up to 76º with the fans on max... Why is Firefox so bad? Is it because it relies on Silverlight?
