My iPad battery is being drained very quickly by the Home app. It is consuming almost 90% of my battery and 100% of the usage is in the background. I have made sure that my iPad is not being used as a Hub in the Home app settings, but I cannot find any other troubleshooting steps to try to resolve the issue. Before I do a complete factory reset, I wanted to ask if anyone else has experienced this issue and if so, were you able to resolve it? TIA.

Have you tried deleting the Home app and reinstalling it?
I just tried now - I get a message that I need to remove all HomePods first. I will give this a try and update afterwards.
