HomeKit HomeKit and Google Home controlling same accessories?

Hi,

I'm looking to buy a Google Home so I can use voice control to cast Spotify to some speakers, but apart from that I'm firmly in the Apple ecosystem.

If I bought some Phillips Hue bulbs and the 2.0 hub, would both Google Home and Siri via HomeKit be able to control the bulbs? Could I ask Google Assistant to turn them on, then Siri on my Apple Watch to turn them off if I was out of the room?

Not a deal-breaker if they can only be setup with one (will just use Siri and HomeKit), but would be nice to be able to control them with both. Wondered if anyone had the question and knows the answer.
