Hi,

Apologies if this has been asked numerous times before. I have a stereo pair of Homepods in the bedroom at present and am considering buying a third device for the back room. The thing is that the WiFi doesn't reach there and I bought an expander device so it would.

This means that the HomePod would have to connect to the network this device creates which then connects to the main one and would thus be on a different network as such as the others. Does this present an issue?

Thanks,

C.

it's not a different network, it's a different wireless network.

if the "expander device" joins your existing network, then anything connected to the extender will see everything else on the main network.
